Repair and Upgrade of a Delta DC Rectifier (Part of Onsite Sodium Hypochlorite Generator System)

CHLORCEHCO has repaired and reconditioned a Delta DC Rectifier for the Water Department at an army base in California.  These DC rectifiers are used at many waste water plants and municipal water districts throughout USA and Canada. This unit has been in service since 1999. The unit was adjacent to the electrolyzer cell which was a major problem. This has caused major bleach corrosion to the rectifier unit during the last 14 years of operation. CHLORCEHCO has refurbished this unit by removing the corrosion and replacing defective components. The refurbished unit will be installed in a separate room from the electrolyzer cell to avoid further contact with the bleach contamination. With these changes we are confident that the rectifier operational life will be extended by another 15 years.
